A couple of visitors mistakenly entered into rehearsal area of a play at the ongoing Indian cinema centenary event here leading to a heated argument them and a theatre director, after which police was called in to intervene.
The incident took place this evening at the Siri Fort auditorium when the visitors inadvertently entered the rehearsal premises while coming out of the adjoining auditorium.
The director of the play objected to the presence of outsiders in the camp following which heated argument broke out between him and the visitors, who claimed they had entered the place "by mistake".

"I was coming out of the adjoining auditorium after watching 'Diamond Queen' film and by mistake I had just entered the gate of the auditorium where they were rehearsing," one of the visitors said.
"But, why did the director start shouting at us so loudly, when we were leaving anyway," he said.
The visitor also called the police after the argument prolonged and said he will file a police complaint.
The play scheduled for tomorrow evening also marks the closure of the centenary festival which began on April 25 here.
