A Delhi Police constable, along with three others, has been arrested for alleged involvement in a kidnapping-cum-gangrape of an 18-year-old girl in Vikaspuri area of West Delhi, police said today.

According to police, the incident took place on Thursday night when the girl had gone to watch a movie in Vikaspuri area.

At the cinema hall, the girl had an argument with two men who were later identified as Ajay and Praveen.

"During the argument, the girl scolded them. Enraged by this insult, the duo kidnapped her in a car when she was on her way back home and took her to a room in Dwarka area of South-West Delhi," a police officer said.

Ajay and Praveen then called their Constable friend Satender to the spot after which the trio allegedly took turns to rape the girl.

The victim has filed a complaint of rape in this case.

After her medical examination confirmed rape, police lodged a case under sections of kidnapping and gangrape.

The three men and a woman identified as Kiran Kalias, who allegedly helped the trio in the commission of the crime, have been arrested, the official said.

They were produced before a Delhi court which remanded them into 14 days of judicial custody.
