A police constable today sustained injuries after a Calcutta University student bit him on his cheek during a scuffle.
A scuffle broke out between two sections of students during a cultural programme in the university campus, police said.
When police constable Raja Dhar went to mediate, he was bitten by an unidentified student, DC, Central D P Singh said, adding that a case has been resgistered.
