Police constable booked for furnishing fake certificates

A Ghaziabad police constable has been booked for allegedly getting employment in the department by presenting false documents and mark sheets.

A case of forgery has been registered against constable Ajay Pal after it was found that he had furnished fake certificates of his education to the department to get the job, SHO Kavinagar Police station, Ashok Sisodia, said.

The accused constable was recruited in 2005, and one Ram Mittal, who belongs to Pal' village Chunpur of Etawah, made a complaint about his fake certificates to Ghaziabad SSP Dharmendra Singh, he said.

After getting the complaint, Singh got the matter probed by Deputy Superintendent Anil Yadav, Shisodia said, adding that in his enquiry Yadav found that the constable had submitted false documents.
