A 45-year-old police constable was allegedly murdered when he was on duty in Shapur area of the district, police said today.
Constable Tularam was found with his throat slit yesterday at Miranpur police outpost, DIG of police Muta Jain said.
It may be a case of robbery or old enmity, he said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, Jain said, adding that investigations are going on in the case.
