A constable of Uttar Pradesh police was killed and five other personnel injured when a jeep carrying crime branch team collided with a tractor here.
According to police sources, the mishap occurred last night near Birla temple here when the crime branch team was returning from a visit to Vrindavan in connection with a robbery case.
Constable Pankaj Kumar died from the injuries sustained in the collision between the jeep and the tractor trailer laden with bricks while five other members of the police team accompanying him in the vehicle were injured in the mishap.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital, sources added.
