Police constable's son commits suicide

A 28-year-old son of a police constable today allegedly committed suicide at his residence in suburban Jogeswhwari, a senior police official said.

Bhushan Wagh, was found hanging from ceiling of his room at around 12:15 pm, said senior inspector of Meghwadi police station Pandurang Patil.

After getting information, police officials reached the spot and rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, Patil said.

Bhushan's father Rajesh Wagh is a constable posted at the Jogeswhwari police station.

The reason why he took the extreme step was not yet known and no suicide note was found from the spot, Patil said, adding a probe was on.
