Police constable shot dead by Maoists

A police constable has been shot dead by the Maoists in Gumla district, the police said today.

The Maoists took away the police constable, Badrinath Tiwari, from his house at Malam village last night and shot him dead, in-charge of Chainpur police station Shyam Bihari Manjhi told reporters here.
