Three members of a family were today killed when the SUV in which they were travelling collided with a mini truck at Gyan village near Chhabewal here, police said.
The family was coming from Chandigarh when their vehicle collided head-on with the mini truck which was coming from the opposite direction, police said.
The family members were taken to the civil hospital where they succumbed to their injuries, police said.
The deceased were identified as Amrik Singh, 48, his wife Jasbir Kaur, 48, and their son Jaspal Singh, 22, said Hoshiarpur police DSP Gurjitpal Singh.
Both the husband and wife were posted as Head Constables in Hoshiarpur, police said.
