The police and CRPF jointly raided two places in West Midnapore district and recovered a pistol, a bomb and landmine making material, a police officer said.
West Midnapore Superintendent of Police Bharati Ghosh said acting on tip-off the police and CRPF conducted a raid in Lalgarh's Ajnasolie forest and recovered a country made pistol, a cane bomb and 30 metre electric wire.
The police and CRPF also jointly raided Chitamatia forest and recovered nine iron pipes used in making landmines, the SP added.
