West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today heaped praise on police saying they do a lot of hard work asked them not to get disheartened when some people still 'criticise' them.
"The police do a lot of hard work but still some people criticise them. I would request the police personnel not to get disheartened by the criticism," Banerjee said.
"I salute the police personnel for their hard work and I am also proud of them," she said while giving away the prize to the winners of the All India Police Football Championship at Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district.
