Police has identified the tour guide who had allegedly raped an US national along with his accomplices in a five-star hotel in Connaught Place in April.
Sources said that the police has contacted the tour guide who is currently in Nepal and he has denied any "involvement in the incident."
He is likely to return from Nepal tomorrow and has assured that he will join the probe, sources said.

One of the other accused, who was working at the hotel when the incident took place, is now working at some other hotel and police is making efforts to trace him.
Meanwhile, the hotel has told police that they store CCTV footage recordings of a particular time period and the recordings of the time frame when the alleged incident took place have been erased, sources said.
Police is mulling over the possibility of sending the hard disks and cameras to CFSL or FSL to try and retrieve the deleted footage that may give them clues, they added.
A police team is in touch with the US woman and is trying to convince her to come down to India and she has expressed willingness about joining the probe.
She has hired a law firm here and her lawyers are also in touch with police.
The woman had alleged that she was raped by the men for two days. They also threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter to anybody. She had also stated that the accused had made a video of the act and had threatened to make it public if she reported the matter to anybody.
