Inspector-in-Charge of Harirampur police station in South Dinazpur district Nilesh Ghosh and sales manager of a private insurance firm Sarwar Hossain were killed when their car hit a gas tanker from behind. It was suspected that the break of the car failed.
The victims were coming from Siliguri to Raiganj in North Dinajpur district when the incident occurred, police said.
