The Kolkata Police arrested one person for his alleged involvement in several incidents of snatching in the southern part of the city, a police officer said today.
The KP officers arrested Chandan Shaw (25) from his residence in south Kolkata's Charumarket area yesterday, the police officer said.
The police recovered many mobile phones from Shah's possession. The police also seized the motorcycle that was used for snatching, the officer said.
He was produced at a Kolkata court today. The court remanded him to police custody till June 27.
