Police plan operation to get Jawahr Bagh vacated of activists

The district administration today said police would be deployed in strength to get hundred of acres of land of Jawahar Bagh here vacated from the activists of splinter group of Baba Jai Gurudeo who claim themselves to be member of Azad Bharat Vidhik Vaicharik Kranti Satyagrahi.

The activists occupied the land on the pretext of 'dharna' over two years ago.

"The process of area dominance is on. Heavy force including policewomen, RAF etc is arriving soon," SP city Mukul Dwivedi said.

City Magistrate Ram Araj Yadav said "our preparation is full and we will get the land vacated from above activists any time."
 

Additional District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Awasthi said prohibitory orders would be in place in the city from today till June 15.

Earlier, RLD leader Kunwar Narendra Singh and Kisan Sangharsh Samiti leader Ram Babu Katelia said they had given three days till May 31 to the district administration to get the land vacated.

"Earlier on two occasions, we had giventime to the district administration but with no positive result," RLD leader Kunvar Narendra Singh said.

The occupants' demands include "cancellation" ofelection of President and Prime Minister of India, replacement of existing currency with Azad Hind Fauz currency, sale of diesel at 60litres for one rupee and petrol at 40litres for one rupee among other.
