Suspended Trinamool Congress MP Kunal Ghosh was today shoved around by the police in the Bidhannagar court premises and pushed into a lift as he attempted to talk to the media.

Ghosh had on several occasions in the past made unsavoury comments and levelled charges of complicity of a section of Trinamool Congress leadership in Saradha chit fund scam during court hearings as well as outside court rooms before and after production.

Policemen posted outside the court room of judicial magistrate M Saha Roy tried to prevent Ghosh from talking to the media and pushed him into a lift as he was making a desperate attempt to talk to reporters at the end of the day's hearing.

During the hearing of the case, Ghosh alleged that he was not being given proper medical treatment at the Alipore Correctional Home where he is lodged.

The suspended TMC Rajya Sabha MP fell out of favour of the party leadership after making allegations of complicity of some its leaders in the Saradha scam.

Ghosh was the head of the media wing of Saradha Group and was arrested for alleged complicity in the multi-crore chit fund scam in November, 2013.
