Police raid massage parlour, detain two Thai women

Police today raided a massage parlour near here and detained two women from Thailand on the charges of working on Tourist Visa.

The organiser of the parlour Vorem Abhilash, a native of Karimnagar area in Telangana, has been nabbed, police said.

Police said the foreign nationals,ChamnanMontian(34) and SupinyaChaiharan(42),had arrived on a tourist visa.

They were offered daily salaries (40 per cent of the fee collected from the customers), police said.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the women had arrivedin the city around two months back.

Abhilash employed them by violating the norms, police said.

ADCP (Special Branch) PV Ravi Kumar said it was the second such incident in the city inthe last three months.

 

A couple of months ago, four women from Thailand were arrested froma spa located at Seethammadhara in the city.
