Acting on a tip-off, a team comprising Sub Divisional Officer (SDO), Arun Kumar Jha and DSP Karmlal searched the jail premises and seized 12 knives, One mobile phone, three chargers among haul of objectionable items, sources said.
A report will be submitted to the district magistrate for taking necessary action against jail officials for allowing supply of such materials to the inmates from outside, they said.
