Police today recovered a minor girl, who was kidnapped by a person from Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, from Punjab.
The victim was last week abducted by one Mohd Shafi from Dharejja area of Tehsil Bhaderwah in Doda, was recovered by Police from Punjab, a police officer said.
On the complaint of girl's family members, a case was registered at Bhaderwah Police Station in the matter.
Acting on a tip off and after scrutinising Call Data Records (CDRs), Doda Police raided Gumna Pind village in Dhariwal of Punjab and recovered the kidnapped girl, he said.
The accused has been arrested and the kidnapped girl handed over to her legal guardians, he said.
