Police today claimed to have seized 110 cases of liquor which was to be distributed during the civic polls on February 25.
During special checking at Qadian area, police recovered 110 cases of liquor from the vehicle and arrested three persons identified as Kewal Singh, Kuldip Singh and Jatinder Singh.
The vehicle was also impounded by the police.
A case under Excise Act has been registered against the owners of liquor vend owners Anil Kaushal and Karan Kaushal, besides three other accused.
Liquor was smuggled from Amritsar district and it was to be distributed during municipal council polls, police said.
