Police recovers 60 bikes, 7 held

The police today arrested seven members of a gang and recovered 60 motor bikes, stolen from different places, from their posession.

"A special police team with the help of CCTV camera placed in bus stand and railway station in Balasore town nabbed the culprits," said Superintendent of Police, Balasore district, Niti Sekhar.

Their area of operations are mainly crowded place and with help of master key they used to steal motorcycle and sell them mostly in rural areas in throw away prices, said a police officer of Sahadevkhunta Police Station.

The arrested seven persons hailed from Balasore, Mayurbhanj and nabouring West Bengal, police said.
