Police reshuffle in HP

Himachal Pradesh government today

ordered a reshuffle of 17 police officers, including five Inspector Generals and a DIG.

G D Bhargawa, who was awaiting posting orders, has been sent as IG, Southern Range, in place of A P Siddique who has been deputed as IG (Armed Police and Training), Shimla.

P L Thakur would be IG (Central Range) in place of Atul Verma, who has been posted as IG (Tourist Traffic and Railways). Rakesh Aggarwal, IG (Northern Range) at Dharamsala, has been given the additional charge of IG, Police Training Centre at Droh.

A P Singh, DIG (CID), holding the additional charge of DIG (Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau), has been posted as OSD in Himachal Bhawan, New Delhi.
 

He would continue to hold the additional charge of CID and Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau.

Chander Shekhar Sharma, Commandant (Home Guards) at Una, has been posted as SP, police training school at Droh.

Nine Himachal Police services officers also figured in the list.
