Israeli police say an Israeli has been killed in an attack in the West Bank.

An unidentified attacker earlier opened fire on an Israeli vehicle and then rammed his car into pedestrians. Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says it was not clear how the Israeli was killed.

The attack followed an earlier assault today when a Palestinian stabbed Israelis at an office building in Tel Aviv.

The violence is the latest in a two month-long wave of unrest and brings the Israeli death toll to 17.

At least 82 Palestinians have been killed, among them 52 said by Israel to be attackers.
