Police search for cop's missing dog in Kanpur

After Uttar Pradesh minister Azam Khan's buffaloes, police in the state are on a lookout for a pet dog of a cop which has gone missing from Malviya Vihar in Barra area.

According to a complaint lodged by the wife of Prabhunath Saroj, the Station Incharge of Radar police station in Urai district, their dog, Tiger, went missing from the house on Saturday when the family had gone out somewhere, said Rambabu Singh, Station Officer of Barra police station.

When the family could not find the dog in the house upon their return, they approached police on Sunday, he said.
 

The family has also declared a cash reward for bringing the dog back, he said.

An investigation has been launched to locate the whereabouts of the missing dog, the SO said.
