A 10 member gang was arrested from a hotel here and recovered a patromax of antique value, police said today.
They said the gang was were staying in the hotel and attempted to sell the petromax made in 1816 and having the emblem of East India Company engraved on it.
The petromax contains iridium valuing at several lakhs of rupees, police said.
