Police seized arms and ammunition from a house here and arrested one person in this connection, a senior police officer said Thursday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anudeep Singh said a police team conducted raid in the house of Manoj Kumar on Wednesday night in Namda bustee area and seized one .315 bore rifle, one .12 bore double barrel rifle, one revolver of six- round, one pistol, 27 live cartridges of different bore and three empty cartridges.
The DSP said Kumar has been arrested after a case was registered under various sections of Arms Act.
