A huge cache of arms was seized from the headquarters of the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) by the police.
A powerful MA-3 (MK II), a Chinese-made hand grenade, two magazines of a pistol, 15 rounds of 7.65mm live ammo, four rounds of 5.56 ammo, 14 empty rounds of AK ammo, 10 numbers of gelatine explosive sticks, identity cards and other documents were seized from the GNLA headquarters, police sources said today.
Police had raided the headquarters of the NGLA in Adugre region of the Durama Hills on Tuesday, the sources added.
