Police seized illegal arms from BSP leader's vehicle

The Police today recovered illegal arms and ammunitions from a vehicle of the Bokaro district committee president of Bahujan Samaj Party, a senior police officer said.

Acting on an information, police searched the vehicle of the BSP leader, Deepak Srivastav, parked in front of his house in Sector three under the City police station limits today morning and recovered two country-made pistols including one loaded one and ten live cartridges, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (city), Ajay Kumar.

Kumar said the vehicle has been confiscated.

Srivastav has not yet been arrested as investigations were on, he added.
