Police solve businessman murder case

Police today claimed to have solved a murder case of a businessman with the arrest of four persons in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Investigations were launched after a man identified as Raj Kumar was found murdered a few yards away from his house on Monday, February 23rd"...Following which a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to probe the case, a senior police officer said.

Police got success today when it first clue related to the case after monitoring call records of the deceased and arrest four person from different locations.

"Based on the call details of the victim, one accused Kewal Krishan was arrested and his sustained interrogation led to the arrest of three other accused identified as Shiv Kumar, Varinder Singh and Gagan Deep Singh," the officer said.
 

During the interrogation, Krishan told police that he was Kumar's business partner. Krishan developed some business rivalry with him (Kumar) and decided to remove him from his way, they said.

"Kewal Krishan hired the assigns to kill Raj Kumar," for eliminate Kumar, police said, adding, all the four accused have been booked under 302 of IPC (murder) and conspiracy to kill.
