Police solve gold ornaments theft case; arrest 4 Nigerians

Cyberabad Police today said it has solved the case of theft of 3.5 kg gold ornaments worth Rs 1.50 crore from a jeweller's car here on April 16 by arresting four Nigerians.

Olasoju Richard Oljide, Efeture Richard Ono, Ozigagu Paul Friday and Adenusi Adewale Elijah were arrested from Bengaluru yesterday and efforts are on to nab five other prime accused belonging to Peru and Nigeria, a release from Cyberabad Police said.

The absconding accused after conducting recce in several places of jewellery shops in Hyderabad stole the bag containing gold ornaments from the complainant's car by diverting his attention by deflating his car's tyre before fleeing back to Bengaluru, said police.
