Police solve kidnapping case of trader's son

Police have claimed to solve the alleged kidnapping of a Gurgaon-based trader's son with arrest of two persons here.

Zuber and Rasid, both residents of Bharatpur district, were arrested on Thursday night and two country-made pistols, four live cartridges, one stolen car and some powder used for making people unconscious was recovered from their possession, SSP Babloo Kumar said.

Kumar claimed Rasid has confessed to have committed the crime.

Sukprit (25), son of plastic trader Harendra Preeti Baxi, was kidnapped from MG Road, Gurgoan, on October 12, 2015.

He was released after a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was allegedly paid by the trader.
 

"The hunt for other accused is on," he SSP concluded.
