Krishan Valmiki (26) was kidnapped from Mandi Adampur in Hisar district. He was murdered and his body was thrown in a deserted well of village Nadhauri, near Bhuna in Fatehabad district on April 23, 2011, police said.

The police arrested Krishan Bishnoi of Bhuthan village and his accomplice Virender of Khajuri village in this connection yesterday.

Police said the accused had taken away the victim's vehicle. Before this, they allegedly strangulated the victim with a rope and threw his body into a well.

Two other persons were also wanted by police in the case, but they were still absconding.

According to the police, Krishan Bishnoi and their accomplices hired a taxi for village Nadhauri from Adampur.

After few days the taxi driver Krishan did not return. On a complaint of his brother Devi Lal, Adampur police had registered a case of kidnapping on May 1, 2011 against unknown persons.

The police had later traced the taxi in Barnala in Punjab and started investigations.
