Sadar Police Station in charge Jangsher and Assistant Sub-Inspector Surender Kumar had been suspended on charges of dereliction of duty, a Haryana police spokesman said.
"The duo took the case of theft in their jurisdiction very lightly, did not investigate it properly and did not register an FIR on time," he said.
