Vigilance sleuths today caught red-handed a police sub-inspector while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 90,000 from a flour mill owner.
Vigilance Director General PK Thakur said SI Chandan Kumar, Station House Officer of Akbarpur police station in Nawada district, was trapped by the sleuths on the complaint of one Kaulesh Kumar, the flour mill owner.
Scared that his mill could be looted as it was located at a place away from populated areas, Kaulesh had requested the police to conduct patrolling in the area at night.

On enquiry, Kaulesh's complaint was found to be true and the SI was trapped by a vigilance team, he said.
Altogether 32 government officials and a couple of touts have been arrested in 30 trap incidents this year by the vigilance, Thakur said.
