Police team busts alleged sex racket

A police team of the City Task Force (CTF) raided a house at Venkateswara Nagar near A N Beach Hospital and busted an alleged flesh trade racket, a police official said here today.

Police inspector Mallikarjun Rao said that one P Sarada, who is allegedly the main owner of the brothel as well as two customers were arrested.

A girl was rescued from the brothel, the police official said.

Allegedly, Sarada was involved in similar cases under Two Town and Three Town police station limits, the police official said.

The police seized Rs 6,200 in cash as well as three cellular phones, the police official said.
 

Those who were arrested have been handed over to the Maharanipeta police station for further action, the police official said.
