In its bid to curb speeding offences on the 'Maa' flyover in the city, Kolkata Police will start prosecuting rogue drivers, Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said today.
"We have put up speed guns, CCTVs on both sides of the Maa flyover and monitoring them to ensure immediate prosecution," Kumar told reporters at the state secretariat today.
If the police ensured punishment, speeding would reduce, he said.
