Police warn of strict action against ragging, eve-teasing

Rajamahendravaram district superintendent of police (urban) B Rajakumari today warned the students against indulging in ragging and eve-teasing in colleges in the East Godavari district.

Police were taking various steps to curb ragging and eve-teasing, Rajakumari said.

Serious action will be initiated against the students who indulge in such crimes in colleges, the DSP warned.

Colleges should have parent-teacher committee and anti-ragging committee, the DSP added.
