A policeman was today arrested in Rajouri district on charges of drug smuggling and large quantity of narcotics was recovered from him.
Constables Imtaiz Ahmed and Shah Nawaz Ahmed were intercepted at a special check-point on Rajouri road, police said, adding, while Imtaiz managed to flee, Shah Nawaz was nabbed by the cops.
Over 1,000 Proxivan capsules and 180 bottles Corex cough syrup were recovered from his possession, they said.
