A policeman today died in a hospital here in Doda district in Jammy and Kashmir after he suddenly fell ill.
Head Constable Qamar Din suddenly collapsed in Bhaderwah belt of Doda district following which he was hospitalised but passed away later, police said, adding that the reason behind his death was not immediately known.
In a separate incident, a body of a 34-year-old woman, Sando Devi, was recovered from a ditch in Banjli area of the district today, police said.
A case has been registered and an investigation is on.
In a third incident, 40-year-old Pawan Kumar fell from a running van in Chingus area of Rajouri district and died, police said.
