At least one policeman was killed and three persons injured today when a three-storey building collapsed in the Egyptian city of Assiut.
Rescuers are checking if any survivors were under the rubble, officials said, adding that the victims were passing by the building when it collapsed.
Last year, 19 people were killed and eight others injured when an eight-storey building collapsed in Egypt's Matariya district due to unauthorised construction in the complex.
