Jharkhand High Court has directed the state government to post at least one policewoman in every police station to deal with the problem of eveteasing.
Disposing of a PIL urging protection of girls from eve teasers, a division bench of Chief Justice R Banumathi and Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh also directed the state government yesterday to adopt rules and regulations adopted by Tamil Nadu and Punjab in this regard to control the problem.
The bench also asked the government to ensure regular patrolling around educational institutions, hostels and lodges.
