Poll office holds street theatre, rally to get people to vote

The Central District Election office today organised a 'nukkad natak' in Assembly Constituency No. 24 at Farid Puri in West Patel Nagar today as part of efforts to get more people to come out and vote in the upcoming Assembly elections.

The street theatre show was performed by artistes from the NGO Kirti Foundation along with members of Nehru Yuva Kendra.

Meanwhile, a rally was organised in the Sadar Bazar Assembly Constituency starting from Shastri Booth at Shastri Nagar Market with the same objective of enhancing the voter turnout.

Volunteers participated in the rally wearing white tees and caps of a similar colour printed with the slogans, "Mera Vote Mera Adhikar" and "Mera Vote Mera Bhavishya.
