Exuding confidence of a victory in the ongoing Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad today said that the results will spring a surprise, proving wrong all assessments made by political pundits.

"The results will be surprising and all the assessment made by so called political pundits and psephologists will prove to be wrong," Azad said tonight.

"People of the state in all the regions have shown immense faith in Congress in the first four phases and it is going to emerge as a strong force in the state," he said.

Azad said that no government will form the government in the state without the participation of Congress.

Asserting that BJP stands fully exposed before the people of the state, especially Jammu, Azad said that its language and tone kept changing from one region to another region, and its stand on issues like Article 370, rehabilitation of refugees has taken lid off its double speak and gimmickry.

Asserting that Congress due to its harmonising agenda and acceptability in the regions and sub regions of the state has regained the political space in the state, Azad said he was confident about Congress's success in the Assembly elections.

He further said that the results will be surprising and all the assessment made by so called political pundits and psephologists will prove to be wrong.
