The decision was taken today during a high level meeting of three departments including Rural Development and Panchayats, Water Supply and Sanitation and Soil Conversation Department here.
Presiding over the meeting, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Rural Development and Panchayat Minister said the state government had decided to clean and renovate ponds in all the villages to benefit the rural population of Punjab.
