BJP's Puducherry unit today flayed Chief Minister V Narayanasamy for failing take effective steps to tackle the fiscal crisis.
Instead the Chief Minister was "trying to cover up his failure and inefficiency" by criticising the NDA government at the centre and the Lt Governor of Puducherry, a resolution adopted bythe unit's executive council meeting here said.
The resolution pointed out that "because of inefficiency and misguided administration" a serious fiscal crisis has cropped up in Puducherry.

The meeting noted with concern the "diversion of funds" earmarked for the scheduled castes welfare under special component plan for "other purposes without the approval" of the planning authorities of Puducherry government.
Another resolution urged the CBI to expedite investigation into alleged malpractices and corruption in admission of students to post graduate courses in private medical colleges here.
The resolution also called for resignation of Health Minister of Puducherry Malladi Krishna Rao on moral grounds for the "scam and malpractices."
It referred to alleged flouting of rules and norms in filling the PG seats through Centralised Admission committee (CENTAC) here.
The CBI had booked two IAS officers and a few other officials of the Puducherry government and of CENTAC last month following complaints of irregularities in admission to PG courses in private colleges here.
Copies of resolutions adopted at the meeting were distributed to the media by BJP unit president V.Saminathan, MLA.
