Congress today ruled out any tie-up with ruling All India NR Congress in Puducherry for the Lok Sabha polls.

"There is no possibility for any tie-up with the NR Congress," Puducherry PCC chief A V Subramanian said.

"We have appealed to the Congress high command to nominate Narayanaswamy (Union Minister V Narayanasamy) again for the 2014 elections," he said, adding, Congress would start its poll campaign.

Puducherry has a lone Lok Sabha seat.

Referring to the electoral roll revision process in the Union Territory, Subramanian charged that the names of many congress workers had been deleted from the electoral rolls.

"...If the names are not included, we will approach the Election Commission," he said.
