Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today greeted people of the union territory on the eve of Ugadi.
'My heartiest wishes on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi for a year of prosperity, peace and happiness in the lives of the people celebrating Ugadi and the people of Puducherry," she said in a message.
Ugadi is celebrated as the new year day by Telugu and Kannada-speaking people.
