A 19-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide today by hanging herself in her hostel room in Bharatpur district.
Bharti Sharma, an undergraduate student at a private college, committed suicide early this morning, police said.
"In a suicide note, she wrote she waspoor in studies therefore taking the extreme step," said Murari Meena, SHO, Bhusawar Police Station.
The body has been handed over to family members after post-mortem, he said.
