Actor Portia De Rossi has alleged that actor Steven Seagal sexually harassed her during an audition for a film role.

The 44-year-old actor, wife of TV personality Ellen Degeneres, posted on Twitter that she met Seagal for an audition for a film role at his office where he sexually harassed her.

"My final audition for a Steven Seagal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants.

"I ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, 'Well, I didn't know if he was your type'," Rossi posted on Twitter.

Rossi's story of harassment comes just days after actor Julianna Margulies narrated her own uncomfortable encounters with powerful men in Hollywood, including Seagal.

In an interview with Jenny Hutt on SiriusXM, Margulies recalled an alleged meeting, set up by a female casting director, with Seagal, where he was armed with a gun.

"I got to the hotel around 10:40, and she wasn't there. And he was alone and he made sure that I saw his gun, which I had never seen a gun in real life.

"I got out of there unscathed... I never was raped, and I never was harmed. I don't know how I got out of that hotel room," the actor had said.
