Portion of fire station building collapses, none injured

A day after a portion of a 65-year-old building belonging to the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation collapsed in the district killing eight transport department staffers, another government building came down today but no one was injured.

A portion of the fire station building here, which was constructed in 1943 for being used as rest room for the fire service personnel collapsed this morning.

However, no one was injured, police said.
